BTW, I think, _all_ _remained_ references to PROTO name may be removed:
in dsk.c, turboc.cfg, and, of course, in portab.h. First, there are already
a lot of (unconditional) prototypes, which anyway not enclosed by PROTO.
Second, I doubt that now you may find (useful) C compiler, which not support
prototypes.
