Hi,
I see allot of patches from Arkady. If I had more time I could check
them out and start committing to the CVS. But! So many patches!

Yes there are! :-)
Which is why I created a development branch, where I can more
quickly apply patches that may (or may not) need more testing/review.
End users should stay with release kernels, those using the
kernel for other products should stay with the HEAD branch or
release kernels (as they deem necessary), and developers are free
to use either branch (but be clear about which is used in any
discussions and keep in mind the dev branch may have a bug already
fixed).

ok, good idea! We (ReactOS Project) tag a "release" branch and keep the
new stuff tagged Head. It's to help with code freeze for a release.

Arkady! Do you have a working kernel so I can look at it for testing?

you can get a source tarball from sourceforge (URL not yet permanent)
/freedos.UNSTABLE.tgz or from cvs using -r UNSTABLE on checkout,
or from fdos.org bootdisks page (which includes binaries).

Great!

I will update email address info sometime in the future. Once I get things
sorted out here.

It good to see your part of the project,
Thanks,
James
