Hi all, I think it is not okay to move the copyright message from kernel to autoexec. The autoexec is just an example, most distros will not use it. You can keep the message very short... FreeDOS (version), copyleft (years) (mumble about authors) under GNU General Public License (version 2 or, at your option, any later version). A message in this style will be enough in 2004, because most people will know GPL and because at least one, probably even several, copies of the full GPL text will be on all FreeDOS systems, and if not, on internet.
