Is XCDROM expected to write ? I am experimenting with a CD-RW drive in my computer and XCDROM does install correctly and allow reading (with shsucdx) but issues an "I/O error in writing to device" when cdmake tries to write to a CD-R in the drive. My computer has an ISA bus and so, neither UDMA nor ATAPI. access to CD drive is through port 170-17f (second IDE interface) Did anyone ever use xcdrom together with cdmake unde plain DOS ?
