Could somebody please point me to site/article that describes the FreeDOS boot process. And I'm interested in finding out more about what sys.comdoes/how it works, when copying The FreeDOS kernel ..kernel.sys. Does sys.com change the code in the MBR of a hard disk or only the volume boot record on, say on the first partition of a disk?
