Yes, I think I was very extreme, but I have installed FreeDOS in the USB for
a couple of times and nothing happened. Next time, I will use any of the
tools you mention.

I also thought that because Linux was mounting the drive as /dev/sdb and not
the usual /dev/sdb1. However, I created the partition with Linux' cfdisk and
I still couldn't use the flash drive.
Finally, I created the partition with Vista's partitioner and voilá!
Now, again I can use my flash drive and install FreeDOS on it.
