It could be very helpful seems WP DOS can be made to work in Linux which has no problems with USB the only issue would be conversion from WordSTAR 7.0 D format. So that is definitely another potential solution otherwise Ill need to type the recipies in from scratch in which case OpenOffice / LibreOffice will do nicely. Then there is all that scanning of newspaper recipies to start.
