Well, a USB floppy drive will work in MS-DOS (or FreeDOS) if the BIOS is able to do the "translation", just like they are doing for USB keyboards or mice. Otherwise, there is no "build-in" support for USB in ANY DOS (as DOS predated USB) and your best bet would be some 3rd party USB driver, though I thinkĀ  Georg Potthast's drivers do NOT support USB floppy drives...
