multibooting Windows NT/2000/XP with DOS was a 'no problem' problem in ~1995-2005, using any of multiple (boot.ini, GRUB, bootmgr, ...) ways. while this (dark age) knowledge has vanished over the years, it should still work it's magic even today. and it's completely ignored by the FreeDOS installer :-<< I have no idea if it's the BEST way to do things. it's what I use.
