Hi Nick, Yes, I also thought about an OpenLayers or even a GeoExt Client. Thanks for the tip with the GeoRSS approach, in this (Disastermanagement) case it´s really much better to keep it all on an old-fashioned monolithic dektop client. ;)
As I had no chance to build up any OL Solution so far: Is it complicate to refresh the client automatically with some JavaScript? But nevertheless I need something to render at least the GeoRSS.
