To be honest, I do not think we should care for this code specifically. The move to Python3 will require python-krbV code to be completely removed, and we should use python-gssapi instead. I will help with the "how do I kinit" part once we can do that. Now, I do not know if it is worth NACKing this patch in that sense, or letting it through, it depends on whether we want to be able to backport this specific fix or whether it is ok to have it only available on python-gssapi capable machines.
