I've been just using the packages from Fedora. I can build it potentially
but I don't have a cross build environment set up at the moment. From
experience I'd want to do that first because building anything on the Pi
usually takes ages.

I'd been "redacting" the hostnames but I'll stop bothering since it looks
like we're getting far enough into the weeds now that the difference in
string lengths after "redacting" might actually be a red herring.
