if you forgot the —mkhomedir option, you can use authconfig
authconfig --enablemkhomedir —update

ipa-client-install has the --mkhomedir option based on
pam_mkhomedir.  RHEL8 seems to prefer oddjob-mkhomedir instead.
What's the recommended method for RHEL8.x please?
