IdM Upgrade Helper [1] is a web application on the Red Hat Customer Portal [2] 
designed to simplify upgrading IdM environments to a newer Red Hat Enterprise 
Linux (RHEL) version. 
It provides comprehensive, end-to-end guidance, helping you validate 
prerequisites, identify deprecated or removed functionalities, and follow a 
clear upgrade path.
The tool provides explicit instructions for adding new replicas and safely 
decommissioning old servers, mitigating risks unique to your upgrade path.

Key Features : 
- Automatically identifies the supported target version for your upgrade.
- Clearly outlines all supported upgrade paths.
- Provides details about deprecated and removed functionalities in the target 
version.
- Lists the pre-requisites for upgrading/updating based on your selected target 
version.

The tool requires authentication to the Red Hat Customer Portal [2] and is 
available to holders of the no-cost Red Hat Enterprise Linux Developer 
Subscription [3].
