First off, I have opened a ticket to make it clear in the FreeIPA docs what you should do: https://fedorahosted.org/freeipa-guide/ticket/25
Okay, until I get that done, here is the info on what to do for backing up and restoring the DS in general: http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Directory_Server/8.2/html/Administration_Guide/Populating_Directory_Databases-Backing_Up_and_Restoring_Data.html There are a couple of different options and scripts you can use, aside from just importing and exporting data. Hope that helps! So even if its a case of now its easy just backup /var/lib/dirsrv and nothing more is needed, it should say so IMHO. Restoring Is there a restore process? so with FDS/389 you would import the exported file. regards Steven Jones Technical Specialist - Linux RHCE Victoria University, Wellington, NZ 0064 4 463 6272 _______________________________________________ Freeipa-users mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/freeipa-users
