Hi Uli, The output of bmc-info shows FreeIPMI SSIF driver works in your machine. Please compile freeipmi with debug option enabled
./configure --enable-trace --enable-debug make make install Then, run ipmi-sensors with debug option by ipmi-sensors -f ipmi-sensors --debug and send me the output. I will check it here. Thanks, Regards, Bala --- Free as in freedom http://www.gnu.org/ > Hi Al, > > KCS-Driver won't work > the mBMC PC87431M needs SSIF....... > > > i hope anyone would provide me some hints how to Debug and where to start... > > Uli > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Al Chu" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "Schäfer Raumgestaltung" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: <[email protected]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, August 28, 2007 6:09 PM > Subject: Re: [Freeipmi-users] Freeipmi 0.4.3 Problem reading Intel mBMC onSE7320SP2 > > >> Hi Ulrich, >> I've personally never used/developed on the SSIF driver.
