Hello Eric and others,

I am sorry for forgetting to answer this one, as at that time I wondered
whether Chris was going to answer.

To the topic: I am afraid willingness to reply and notify others is more
important than formal guidelines. I admit I have sometimes been guilty of
forgetting to answer or not answering as the topic was out of scope,
although AFAIK not too often.
