Please see the following thread in Help forum, referring explicitly to Beta 9. http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1732740&forum_id=22102 I am not requiring any procedure for releasing beta versions; it is up to you. It is just that people report a critical, meaning serious, bug in Beta 9. The bug seems to be an almost show-stopper, although they have found a work-around. Disabling tabs is surely a way to get rid of any tab errors. Tabs should better be optional anyway, even if enabled by default.
