Hello Dimitry,

I have only introduced AN OPTION to switch off the ending strip. Can you
please keep the option in the code, even if switched off by default? In my
private version, I have not experienced any problems, and I use it each day,
all day long.

Could you please provide a link to the HTML bugs of Swing you are
mentioning, given they are documented somewhere?

I understand that not painting the ending strip in gray while keeping it is
also a way to go. It is just that some users, like me, PREFER not to have
any ending strip at all, so there should be a USER PREFERENCE enabling that.
User preference is nowadays also called a USER OPTION.

Best regards,
Dan
