I have discovered this bug by imagination: after discovering the bug with dropped newlines in notes, I wondered how many people are actually using the notes (given none of the users have reported the bug), and what else could go wrong with the notes. It occurred to me only with a considerable delay that also indentation and spacing could go wrong, and it really does.
