That's a pretty high density of buzz-words in one sentence. :^)
To clarify, what OS(s) do you want to port FreeMWare to (host)
and which ones do you want to run inside of FreeMWare (guest)?
Speaking of QNX, I saw mention of a new demo floppy on
Slashdot, so I downloaded it and gave it a spin inside of
bochs. Got it to boot all the way into the GUI. Think
the keyboard emulation got hosed after that and won't
let me enter keys. Included a GIF for fun.
BTW, so people know what I've been up to during the last
while. Have been adding Pentium emulation to bochs. Already
have Windows and Linux booting under Pentium emulation.
I did try that QNX demo, but it uses RDTSC if it recognizes
a Pentium, and I don't implement that yet, so I had to use
486 emulation.
This will fit into the plan of FreeMWare development nicely,
since then we can use either a real PC or bochs to test
the virtualization. Plus I really needed to add Pentium
for other stuff.
Will be back to FreeMWare development soon...
