Uhm, I don't think anyone was trying to sell you anything. Perhaps you
got on this listserv by mistake?
BTW - Spam is generally defined as unsolicited attempts to sell you
something, kinda like junk mail in your mailbox. Since you can download
Freemware for no cost and we don't care whether you do or not I don't
think you can classify Freemware discussion as spam.
