Reading this I get the feeling you used 'freemware.org' instead of 
'ftp.freemware.org' the first time. The first one won't work, because 
it points to FastXS' servers that don't allow anonymous access. The 
latter one (ftp.freemware.org) points to Kevin's own FTP server.

Anyhow, it works now :)
