One feature that I (and I suspect others) would find extremely useful would
be to allow the GUI to detach and attach to running processes. This would
be acheived, I guess, by using some kind of GUI server module, as a
replacement to the standard X11 ui module.
Then I could run freemware on, say, a hosted machine on the Internet, and
connect and disconnect to a VM that stays running to offer network services
as I connected to and disconnected from the Internet on my local dial up
machine.
This would be (very) useful for setting up virtual server systems...
Any comments/ideas?
