Hmmmm, this is the same problem that I experienced with one of the
earlier versions of the 0.3.6 Windows release. I am not sure if
Sebastian is able to fix this, but if anyone else thinks that they can
address the problem and provide a fixed release I will upload it.
Cheers,
Ian.
PS. I wish all bug reports were this well thought-out.

Subject: [Freenet-support] Freenet 0.3.6 feedback
Current configuration:
AMD Duron 600 processor
Windows 98SE 4.10.2222A
640M RAM
IE 5.50.4522.1800
Problem description:
When installing release 0.3.6 I get approximately 75% thru the installation and the
setup program halts execution. I am left with a DOS window (title bar - cfgclient)
with the following dialog:
Couldn't find nodeAddress in .\freenet.ini (nothing serious)
Couldn't find serverAddress in .\.fproxyrc (nothing serious)
Additionally the last line in the dialog box of the Freenet 0.3.6 Setup window is:
execute: C:\Program Files\Freenet\cfgclient.exe
The software did find a usable port and java interpreter before this happened.
