OK, another possibility is that your FProxy isn't using the right port
to connect to your Freenet node. Unfortunately, FProxy uses the same
error (404) for when the data doesn't exist as for all other
errors.
[NOTE TO BLANU: Maybe the catch() clause in HttpHandlerServlet.get
should differentiate between NoDataException (404) and other
exceptions (maybe a 500 or 501)? I can do this real quick-like, I
guess.]
Anywho... I think you should have an fproxy.ini in your Freenet
directory. Make sure that the serverAddress= in there is:
serverAddress=tcp/127.0.0.1:lp
...where "lp" is the number that's the setting for "listenPort" in
your freenet.ini. Then, restart Freenet and try it again.
If that *still* doesn't work... try going to a DOS window, cd to your
freenet directory, and try:
frequest gpl.txt
That should -definitely- work. If not, post back!
