I don't think the deal is dead. It may be that most folks have stuff like
their Life (c) going on.
As I'm new here, does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find out
what's going on in terms of current development?

On another note none of my browsers are capable of running java script
so I don't seem to be able to find anything useful through the fproxy
either.
