Hi! Tests of 0.3. Freenet offers basics to establish a universal database or datasystem. I think that this network has all the properties to make possible the development of datasystems in a new way. I've tried to apply the development of site as described by Ian. It's the first step to see how the network works because all html documents can be programmed in a datasystem with the data. Deception on a trial I've inserted my html documents as client because I'm a dial up user. (I wasn't a node) During connexion, all was OK. I retrieved my web pages. I retrieved them from other web pages on Internet. That worked very good. I've destroyed all my files txxxxxx to see what happens and to act as a other machine on the Freenet network. All was terminated, killed. Desaster. What's a pity! Freenet don't seem distinguish the storage on a client and on a node. The user must stay a node if he wish develop a site and must have a permanent connexion. It's not necessarily a problem but we must work with the thing in the mind. I would like to know if you can confirm this fact. My language is frensch but I suppose you've seen. At your disposal for all questions about the datasystem on wich I am working.
