All,

The list has been very quite lately but that doesn't mean things
haven't been happening.
We are in the midst of adding a GUI client in addition to the
web-based interface.

Also, part of the next publishable version (0.6.0) is a complete
rewrite of the medication manager.
There seemed to be a great deal of confusion over (and too many
clicks) the way we did the selection of the various components of
a prescription.

Now when you start to add a new prescription you have the option
of selecting one or more (for Dr. Johnson <s>) drugs from the
drug list. Or you can add a new drug with all of it's
information. A new drug may be added or not added to the drug
list (formulary) at this time. Each time you prescribe a drug
you can select a sig and dispense instructions or you can type in
new ones and they will be added to the pulldowns.

This is a concept change and is therefore and alpha-level
product. I would appreciate a few physicians adding some
prescriptions for patients and let me know; 1) if it works okay,
2) if it is more intuitive than before, 3) if it is something you
would use. Remember that there will be a GUI interface but it
will be modeled along the same lines with extra (?)
functionality.

Prescription 'Changes', 'Refills' and 'Print' have not been
modified for these changes.
Formulary editing has not been modified for these changes.

Thanks for your time.
