The open source FreePM Electronic Medical Record application, 1.0 beta 2
release is on the demo site. http://www.freepm.org:8080/FreePM

We are transferring the templates that have been
built and making some minor modifications to them for inclusion in the
download. Therefore the 1.0b2 release will not be available for download
until sometime late Monday.

The changes are listed here:

It is not usually a good thing to add features during a beta cycle but
we did determine that a couple of things would really enhance
usability. Therefore you may consider them new features or you may
consider them shortcomings in the 1.0b1 release. <s>

The call for templates went with very few responses.
Any ideas why?

My last request for comments yielded a total of three responses. All
three were positive and I want to thank each of those respondents for
taking the few minutes to do so.

But I am still confused as to why two years of discussion turned into
an application receives so little response from those people that
designed it. Yes, this community designed FreePM.

If there are things about FreePM that you don't like or don't work the
way you do, then let us know. I promise you won't hurt my feelings.
I'm never going to sit down with a patient and enter an encounter.

We have had a MUCH larger response from outside this group than from
inside it. So it does appeal to physicians and their IT people.

???

Thanks,
