Tim, Et al While i was at HIMSS this year I met several individuals who feel it is time to move Open Source forward in Healthcare. We plan to try and form a SIG by next year.
I also got this notice today: 1. Be a speaker at the 2003 HIMSS Conference! Here is your chance to speak at HIMSS 2003. Starting March 1, HIMSS will be accepting proposals for pre-conference workshops and education sessions at the 2003 Annual HIMSS Conference and Exhibition. The conference will be held February 9-13, 2003, at the San Diego Convention Center. Guidelines for submitting proposals will be posted on the HIMSS Web site (http://www.himss.org) beginning March 1. The following deadlines apply. March 1, 2002: Call for pre-conference workshop and conference education session proposals opens via the HIMSS Web site March 22, 2002: Call for pre-conference workshops closes at 5:00pm CT April 1, 2002: Call for conference educational session proposals closes at 5:00pm CT I hope the FreePM team will be able to provide a session.
