One could "assume" that and one would be wrong often in the real
world. Testing in the real world has revealed that even when a
physician has designed thier own or modified someone else's
template.  There are always 'exceptions' in dealing with each
patient.  Hence the ability to edit the generated text.

This make design and setup of templates more complicated but
provides much more flexibility.
