Hi,
Well, i'm probably the umpth one who asks this, but:
is there an archive for this list?
Or, when none is available, my question:
We are running a MAX6000 with 8.0.4 software and
freeradius-0.2 (coming from a golden oldie ascend
radiusd of 199x)
I converted the users files where needed (= -> ==,
User-Service -> Service-Type) but after a few hours
running got complains from users. The outgoing calls
no longer functioned.
Below a snipped from the users file:
---------------------------
route-6 Password="ascend", User-Service=Dialout-Framed-User
Framed-Route="###.###.###.###/28 ###.###.###.### 1 n mpp0844-out"
mpp0844-out Password="ascend", User-Service=Dialout-Framed-User
User-Name = "mpp0844",
Ascend-Dial-Number = "##########",
Framed-Protocol = MPP,
Framed-Address = ###.###.###.###,
Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.240,
Ascend-Metric = 2,
Framed-Routing = None,
Ascend-Idle-Limit = 5,
Ascend-Maximum-Channels = 2,
Ascend-Data-Svc = Switched-64K,
Ascend-Expect-Callback = Expect-Callback-Yes
mpp0844 Password="********"
User-Service = Framed-User,
Framed-Protocol = MPP,
Framed-Address = ###.###.###.###,
Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.240,
Ascend-Maximum-Channels = 2,
Ascend-Idle-Limit=2400
---------------------------
(Numbers changed to protect the innocent)
Does anybody have a clue where we went wrong?
Oh, when running radiusd in debug mode (-x)
I see a mpp0844-out request coming in (and beeing acked)
when I start to ping to the given IP address. The
MAX however does not dial out to the given phonenumber
(nothing in logs). Back to the old radiusd, and it
worked straight from the box.
Checked the directory files to see if there was an
attribute mismatch between the old and new radiusd,
but nothing strange showed up.
Met vriendelijke groet,
Pauline Middelink
