Weird. The code itself uses ldap_init(), not ldap_initialize(). Hmm.. and if I change the configure script to look for ldap_init(), it doesn't work for me. After some poking, I discovered at least one typo in the configure script. Please grab the latest CVS snapshot tomorrow morning. That should contain the fix.
