Hi, does it make sense to have a users file with MD5 passwords and try to authenticate XP wireless clients ? (configuration is 801.x wireless LAN 3com client, 3COM Access Point and linux freeradius server).
if it does what should be the values of the attributes Auth-Type and User-Password in the entry associated with the login name in the users file ? (login name and MD5 encrypted password doesn't work) ------------------------------------------------------------------ users: Matched sylvie at 98 modcall[authorize]: module "files" returns ok modcall: group authorize returns updated rad_check_password: Found Auth-Type Local auth: type Local auth: No User-Password or CHAP-Password attribute in the request auth: Failed to validate the user.
