Yes I have read the clients.conf file and I saw the domain name in there.
I tried it and it did not work - therefore the question to the list.

This is why it did not work. In between my testing the line went down and
came
up with a different IP - which was not allowed. I guess the only way forward
(untill 6-8 months pass)
is to restart the radius server at 1:00 in the morning with a cron job - the
dsl line's ip's change at midnight.

This will be a horrible fix - any more practical suggestions would be much
appreciated
