Hi there, I've installed freeradius version 0.9.3 on my suse linux(9.0). I want the server to do authentication for my Cisco BBSM Hotspot server. But I've been trying for nearly two weeks now and there seems to be no way for me to understand the configuration of the radius server. I have yet configured a client (with ip address, shared secret, shortname) and tried to insert some users. But I can't get a connection between the server and the client. Someone told me that I need a lot more attributes(nastype, authentication type) configured. Has anyone ever configurred freeradius for a hotspot server. What do I have to do?
