hi alan,
1-i tried inserting new attributes into the main dictionary file itself....
inspite of that these values from dictionary.ascend are taken.....
the surprising thing is that on the radclient i get the
Ascend-PW-Lifetime=-1 in access-accept but on the server side it is ahown
as MAC-Address 00-DB-F2-GB-99-F1.
2-also, why is dictionary.compat required???
3-now when i run the server in debug mode ...i see a lot of modules being
brought up...which is the script running????
4-If i have to add another argument to radclient or radtest also giving my
MAC-address with username and password...what do i have to do???
Please help,
with best regards,
manjunath

You're re-defining an existing attribute. You can't just pick
numbers at random and use them.

  Create a vendor-specific attribute.
