Hi everyone, the version i use is as follows: freeradius-0.9.3 freetds-0.63 unixODBC-2.2.8 MSSQL2000
I have done almost all the general settings and created all the tables the freeradius needs in SQL server. And then I do some testing like ./tsql -S Servername -U sa ./isql -v Servername sa password can normally login to the SQL server and query. Now I insert a username and password to the table "radcheck", and start to be authenticated by using the same username and password. The freeradius server shows the error message: == rad_recv: Access-Request packet from host ***.***.***.***:32810, id=169, length=56 Service-Type = Login-User User-Name = "kens" User-Password = "kens" NAS-IP-Address = 0.0.0.0 modcall: entering group authorize for request 0 modcall[authorize]: module "preprocess" returns ok for request 0 modcall[authorize]: module "chap" returns noop for request 0 modcall[authorize]: module "eap" returns noop for request 0 modcall[authorize]: module "mschap" returns noop for request 0 radius_xlat: 'kens' rlm_sql (sql): sql_set_user escaped user --> 'kens' radius_xlat: 'SELECT id,UserName,Attribute,Value,op FROM radcheck WHERE Username = 'kens' ORDER BY id' rlm_sql (sql): Reserving sql socket id: 4 rlm_sql_unixodbc: '42S02 [unixODBC][FreeTDS][SQL Server]Invalid object name 'radcheck'.' rlm_sql_getvpdata: database query error rlm_sql (sql): SQL query error; rejecting user rlm_sql (sql): Released sql socket id: 4 modcall[authorize]: module "sql" returns fail for request 0 modcall: group authorize returns fail for request 0 Finished request 0 == In the error message, there is a line says "'SELECT id,UserName,Attribute,Value,op FROM radcheck WHERE Username = 'kens' ORDER BY id'" so I do this query by myself and it can reply the correct result of querying. Could anyone tell my why it shows that "rlm_sql_unixodbc: '42S02 [unixODBC][FreeTDS][SQL Server]Invalid object name 'radcheck'.'" the table "radcheck" does really exist and has data of username and password... Thanks a lot!! (P.S. other tables are empty now.) - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe? See http://www.freeradius.org/list/users.html
