Good day to you. I have a LDAP server running on MacOSX Server. I want to authenticate users using EAP-MD5, and I understand in the order to do that I need to store the passwords in clear-text format on the ldap server. MacOSX Server has a special Password Server, you do have an option of storing crypt passwords using this server, but if you do that some of the apple stuff will not work(you only have 2 options with the tools that they provide you). I want to know if someone has experience doing this using on the MacOSX Server or has some theory of how to do this. I am able to authenticate locally, but when I try to authenticate using a windows machine I fail to validate the user. Any help would be appreciated. Siggi
