Recently I installed 1.0.1 and am very pleased with it. One thing I would like to do is have it log to syslog so I can send the logs to a central server so technical staff can use the logs for troubleshooting. If I tell FreeRadius to log to syslog the correct way, it doesn't. I know the source supports it and understand how it "should" work but it refuses to log to syslog. I've seen a few posts about this but nobody seems to have figured it out.
