Just thought I would throw in my 2 cents on this. According to the radius accounting RFC, you should only send an accounting response when the data has been received AND successfully recorded.
Yep that's correct, and as a matter of fact, accounting performance is quite invisible to customers so I am not sure why I even wrote that. Sidetrack nullified, we shall leave it at authentication. :)
