I think its for priority of the response.. 
Some attributes need to be given back in sequence or they won't work 
Ascend data filters are one of them..

So you can set the prio to be 0,1,2,3,4,5,6.... etc
As you want the to be given back to the nas...

I may be wrong if so someone please correct me..
