Hi, > Hi All > which database is better with freeradius : postgres or mysql > thanks for suggestion
a loaded question. enough to usually launch an advocate war. however, the real question is , which database engine do you have the most experience with? as your knowledge of the database will depict how fast and scalable you can make FreeRADIUS work with it! both mysql and pgsql will work with FreeRADIUS 'out of the box' after following the required configuration startup - username, password, creation of the database and table population and the configure access rights. I've used FR with both mysql and pgsql. Our main systems are currently using pgsql. alan - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe? See http://www.freeradius.org/list/users.html
