hi, do not set Auth-Type := EAP, or AuthType := local in your users file.
the server is quite capable od dealing with these things - there are only a very very few times when you might need to even think about setting the type. can you say what doc you were following that told you to set that value in your users file (so we can liaise with the author to fix such erroneous docs) alan - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe?
