...as said in the original thread when I noted your request was EAP and your server had no EAP support (which you've now fixed)...this is an EAP request...and if you haven't really broken your config then the server will use the inner-tunnel virtual server....so you need to add your call to the perl module into the authenticate section of that virtual-server
