Hello FreeRDP community, First of all, congratulations to all members of the FreeRDP project for the great work and the release of FreeRDP 1.0, keep it up! Thank you also to Marc-Andre for posting the request for Thinstuff Summer of Code 2012 on the mailing list!
My name is Michael Gibson and I'm CEO at Thinstuff which I'm running together with my long-term partner Norbert Federa. We are sponsoring the FreeRDP project since about 18 months now and are also actively contributing code since then, because we believe, that it is a great project and has the potential to become the standard Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) client implementation on all major platforms. As described in https://github.com/FreeRDP/FreeRDP/wiki/TSoC-2012 we are looking for volunteers to implement USB redirection and Kerberos authentication in FreeRDP. The results should be released under the Apache 2.0 license, same as FreeRDP itself. If you are interested to implement one of those tasks and believe that you have the necessary skills please feel free to contact us at mgib...@thinstuff.com. Looking forward to hear from you! Cheers, Michael P.S: We hope that we will be able bring some more good news for the FreeRDP project soon ... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Virtualization & Cloud Management Using Capacity Planning Cloud computing makes use of virtualization - but cloud computing also focuses on allowing computing to be delivered as a service. http://www.accelacomm.com/jaw/sfnl/114/51521223/ _______________________________________________ Freerdp-devel mailing list Freerdp-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freerdp-devel
