I found the solution after many hours of debugging: I notice the following message at the starup of fs (I overlook it for a long time): "Error: stacksize 240 is too large: run ulimit -s 240 or run /opt/freeswitch-1.0.4_svn_12914/bin/bin/freeswitch -waste. auto-adjusting stack size for optimal performance...."
So I just increase the stack size (the stack size was big enough for fs 1.0.3 with GDB so I didn't got any problem with that version) and GDB with breakpoints works fine.
