OK yah i'm experiencing exact same problem here
CentOS 5.2 2.6.18-92.el5 #1 SMP Tue Jun 10 18:49:47 EDT 2008 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux I too have no problems at all on Windows. I'm going to try a Suse or Ubuntu prebuilt/packaged with Mono 2 I suspect it may be kernel/mono incompatibility. Did you compile mono from tarbal?
