You can use EventConsumer class for this, I am afraid its not very documented, but I do recall either a sample or discussion on the mailing list that you should be able to find.

Ya. I have done that event processing with ESL. But I wanted to know, whether in mod_perl, we can get the events and process it or not. I've seen function's like events_get etc.. But I don't know how to use those things.

In mod_perl if I'm able to get the events, then it will be easier for me.
Is it possible!!!

I don't know what you are trying to do exactly but I think that you might need to you ESL instead.

Why don't you take a look at all the examples inside ${SVNROOT}/libs/ esl and see if that fits you? I have a hunch that it would.

Hi all,
Is there any way to receive events while running a perl program with the help of mod_perl??

I've seen some functions related to sending and receiving events in the mod_perl wiki. But I don't know how to use that.
Any help!!!
